چکیده

Existing products are continuously enhanced by taking regard for technical and economical aspects. Materials are used more efficient, production techniques become optimised and machinery gets easier to maintain. Because of requirements from the market, new products evolve. All of this is also true for the field of bulk conveying technologies. Examples of how to enhance single components for bulk conveying systems are shown. Improvements of components are discussed by taking a look at transfer chutes. The optimisation of the material flow at the transfer point is conducted by use of special simulation programs. A completely new system for bulk conveying was developed over the past few years by Doppelmayr/Austria with support by the University of Leoben. This system is a combination between belt conveyor and cable car.

Nonlinear Instability of Coupled CNTs Conveying Viscous Fluid

In the present study, nonlinear vibration of coupled carbon nanotubes (CNTs) in presence of surface effect is investigated based on nonlocal Euler-Bernoulli beam (EBB) theory. CNTs are embedded in a visco-elastic medium and placed in the uniform longitudinal magnetic field. Using von Kármán geometric nonlinearity and Hamilton’s principle, the nonlinear higher order governing equations are deriv...

Nonlinear Flow-Induced Flutter Instability of Double CNTs Using Reddy Beam Theory

In this study, nonlocal nonlinear instability and the vibration of a double carbon nanotube (CNT) system have been investigated. The Visco-Pasternak model is used to simulate the elastic medium between nanotubes, on which the effect of the spring, shear and damping of the elastic medium is considered. Both of the CNTs convey a viscose fluid and a uniform longitudinal magnetic field is applied t...

Nonlocal Vibration of Embedded Coupled CNTs Conveying Fluid Under Thermo-Magnetic Fields Via Ritz Method

In this work, nonlocal vibration of double of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) system conveying fluid coupled by visco-Pasternak medium is carried out based on nonlocal elasticity theory where CNTs are placed in uniform temperature change and magnetic field. Considering Euler-Bernoulli beam (EBB) model and Knudsen number, the governing equations of motion are discretized and Ritz method is applied to ob...
